What has happened to Hailey Welch?
The short answer: Welch turned a viral moment into an ongoing media presence. The longer answer involves a podcast, a messy net-worth rumor cycle, and a cancellation narrative that has not held up to scrutiny.
Where is Hailey Welch now?
- She is still active on Instagram and TikTok, where public profiles list 2 million and 1.7 million followers respectively.
- She hosts the Talk Tuah podcast on YouTube, which secondary reports connect to her brand (Punsterz, an entertainment blog).
- No reliable evidence in the available results places her off social media or out of public work.
The public record shows momentum, not disappearance. A podcast, vlogs, and brand partnerships have replaced the single interview that made her name.
Why did Hailey Welch get canceled?
The available results do not prove that Welch was permanently canceled in 2025 (Cine Net Worth, a celebrity finance site).
The word “canceled” attached to her faster than evidence did. One secondary article refers to a “$HAWK Coin scandal” and alleges backlash, but the available results do not independently verify those allegations (DecoratorAdvice, a niche wealth blog).
In short, the cancellation story is a rumor with a weak paper trail, not a documented outcome. Four dates, one pattern: a fast viral peak, then a slower build into podcasting and social media work.
| Date | Event |

| March 11, 2004 | Born in Tennessee, USA. |

| 2025 | Social profiles remain active and the podcast continues. |
Confirmed facts
- Welch became famous through a June 2024 street-interview clip (Net Worth Ranker).
- Her full name is commonly given as Haliey Aliene Welch (YEN.com.gh).
- No audited net-worth figure has been published (SmartKela).
What’s unclear
- Exact income, merchandise revenue, and contract details.
- Whether the $15 million estimate or the $500,000 estimate is closer to reality (Cine Net Worth).
- Whether the $HAWK Coin allegations have any verified basis (DecoratorAdvice).
- Her current relationship status and the smoking rumors.
The pattern: Welch has a durable public career, while the rumors around her depend on unverified figures and a single scandal narrative.
The implication: the verified record points to continued work, while the cancellation claim points back to an unverified rumor.
What is Hailey Welch’s net worth?
The honest answer is that no authoritative figure exists. YEN.com.gh, a Ghanaian entertainment outlet, notes that available search results do not establish a reliable audited 2025 net-worth figure for Welch.
Is Hailey Welch still making money?
She has clear income channels: merchandise, sponsorships, public appearances, social media, and podcast work (Briefly.co.za, a South African lifestyle publication). The size of that income is the open question.
Estimates are all over the map.
- A $200,000 figure has been attributed to Celebrity Net Worth in secondary coverage (Briefly.co.za).
- One site claims a 2025 estimate of $15 million while also displaying a $500,000 figure on the same page (Cine Net Worth).
- A $12.5 million claim has been described as unsupported by credible evidence (DecoratorAdvice).
- Claims that crypto holdings are part of her wealth are unconfirmed (SlideShare, a user-generated document platform).
None of this is confirmed by primary records. SmartKela, a lifestyle blog, says the available results do not provide independently verified merchandise revenue, profit, contracts, or tax records.
The trade-off: a spread from $200,000 to $15 million is not a range of opinion; it is a sign that no one has audited her finances.
The consequence of ignoring that split is simple: a real career gets reduced to a made-up number.
How old is Hailey Welch?
The table above already settles the age question: public profiles list March 11, 2004, as her birth date. That made her 20 when the Hawk Tuah clip went viral in June 2024, and still 20 as of early 2025.
When is Hailey Welch’s birthday?
Birth date: March 11, 2004 ·
Birthplace: Tennessee, USA ·
Age: 20 (as of early 2025)
Her birthday is one of the few personal details that appears consistently in public profiles. That date comes from secondary biography round-ups, not from a government record or a verified family statement. Why this matters: her age explains why the “overnight success” framing is misleading. She was 20 when the meme hit, not a seasoned media figure with years of industry infrastructure behind her.
Is Hailey Welch single now?
There is no official statement about her current relationship status. Welch keeps her personal life off the public timeline, which means most of what circulates online is guesswork.
Is Hailey Welch a smoker?
- No verified photos or credible reports support the smoking rumors.
- Her public channels focus on vlogs, podcast clips, and brand work, not personal habits.
- The available research notes contain no reliable source confirming either side of the rumor.
The pattern: when a public figure keeps details private, the rumor mill fills the gap with confident but unsourced claims.
Is Talk Tuah over?
The podcast is the clearest example of the meme becoming a business. Punsterz, an entertainment blog, says secondary reports associate Welch with the Talk Tuah podcast, and nothing in the available record says the channel has stopped.
Is Hawk Tuah still doing a podcast?
- Secondary reports associate Welch with the Talk Tuah podcast (Punsterz, an entertainment blog).
- The Hawk Tuah nickname remains the foundation of her public identity.
Is Hawk Tuah still with Pookie?
- Pookie references remain part of meme lore.
- Welch has not publicly confirmed a relationship or a breakup.
Which means: the meme is still the foundation, even as the podcast tries to extend it.
“Available search results do not establish a reliable audited 2025 net-worth figure for Welch.”
“Reported income categories include merchandise, sponsorships, public appearances, social-media activity and podcast-related work.”
Welch’s real story is not a scandal; it’s a study in how quickly a meme can become a business. The verified facts are modest: a viral clip, an active podcast, and a large social audience. The unverified parts — the net-worth spikes, the cancellation narrative, the personal-life rumors — are where the record falls apart. For fans and brand managers alike, the lesson is clear: check the source before you share the number, or watch a 20-year-old’s actual work get buried under invented figures.
